[edit] Fighting Style
Lloyd uses two swords in combat. His style is self taught. He concentrates on fast movement in battle rather than pure power. As such, he's more of a combo-oriented character. Lloyd lacks any long range attacks outside of the Demon Fang tech tree.
[edit] Personality
Lloyd is a very multifaceted individual. At times he can be immature, brash, or irrational. He's also not the sharpest tool in the shed. However, he can be extremely intuitive and analytical (even highly logical, if the situation calls for it). Lloyd is also idealistic, he even has a title called "Gentle Idealist".
[edit] Tales of Symphonia
Lloyd lives on the outskirts of Iselia with his foster father, the dwarf blacksmith, Dirk. He attends school in Iselia, where his friends and peers reside. Lloyd is lethargic and inattentive in class, often leading to him being punished by his teacher, Raine Sage. His best friends are Genis Sage and Collete Brunel (along with others he meets during the journey of world regeneration), and he also has a large pet canine by the name of Noishe. Lloyd is very close to Colette, and wishes to gain strength to protect her. Lloyd wants to find a way to save Sylvarant, and later Tethe'alla, without needless sacrifice; due to these views, he has been tagged as an idealist. After events early in the game, Lloyd accompanies Colette on her journey to regenerate the world.
[edit] Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Lloyd makes a return in the sequel, but all is not well. At the start of the game, a massacre in Palmacosta (the Blood Purge, as it is referred to) occurs. Lloyd is framed for this crime, and the general public places blame upon him. He neither admits or denies to doing such an act. Throughout the game, he attempts to collect Centurions' Cores, although his motives are unclear until a late point in the plot.
