[edit] Introduction

Milla-Maxwell is one of the main protagonists in Tales of Xillia. She is the Master of the Spirits, Maxwell. She is accompanied by the four element spirits. The Spirit of Earth, Gnome. The Spirit of Water Undine, The Spirit of Fire Efreet, and The Spirit of Wind Sylph. She claims that she has traveled from a secret cavern when she sensed a lot of spirits dying. Milla is very focused on trying to save the world. Some could even say that she's obsessed. Because of this, she is disgusted at anyone who doesn't care about the responsibility of the world. She is still new at being human. Because of this, she is very honest and straight forward.

When Jude first meets her, he is fascinated. Later, as Mira reveals that she is Maxwell, Jude starts to understand. Everybody in Liese Maxia envies Maxwell, so of course he would envy Mira as well. They work together in Tales of Xillia.

Milla is one of the few female swordsman in the Tales of Series. The only other ones are Chloe Valens from Tales of Legendia and Philia Felice from Tales of Destiny (though Philia is not a true swordsman). Thanks to her Magi ability, she can convert her regular spells into special altered artes that can be cast instantly. Much like the altered artes in Tales of Vesperia.
